The pinnacle of our Syrah program. Exclusively sourced from cool climate sites that we farm in Santa Rosa Valley in coastal Ventura County. Violet flowers and blackberries on the nose. Intense dark fruits, umami, and five spice powder on the palate. Fine grained tannins, vibrant acidity, black pepper, and a lingering finish. The 2018 is sourced from a single organically farmed vineyard in Santa Rosa Valley. The hillside site has been transitioned to minimal irrigation, organic practices, and the result is intense concentrated flavors and deep coloring. Aged 20 months in neutral oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. 60 cases produced
