The Swayze Vineyard produces a singular Grenache with a beautiful garnet color, medium body, and an intriguing nose. Distinct aromatics, cherry fruit, and a lingering finish of Provencal herbs. An outstanding old-world styled wine for pairing with light dishes. Reminiscent of Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir. Bottled after 10 months of aging in experienced barrels. 60 Cases Produced
From a vineyard in the Antelope Valley, this bottling is very unique, starting with green-herb aromas of bay leaf, moss and dewy tarragon, with a touch of raspberry as well. The funky herbs show on the palate as well, where green olive plays against brighter red fruits. The structure and acidity are solid.
