Whispering Bells are one of the first plants to recolonize the Southern California landscape after a fire. This vineyard in the Santa Monica Mountains was struck by the Woolsey fire shortly after harvest. This wine stands as a testament to the potential of the Malibu Coast AVA in producing expressive classic Cabernet Sauvignon. Bold blackberry fruit, mint, black pepper, and a hint of oregano on the finish are framed by fine grained tannin. Destined to build complexity and character in bottle, this wine can be enjoyed today or aged gracefully for years. Aged 15 months in french oak of which 10% was new. 25 Cases Produced 93 POINTS - WINE ENTHUSIAST
