An explosion of violet flowers on the nose. Powerful umami flavors of soy sauce, cedar, and dark fruit combine with ripe blackberry and fine-grained tannins on the finish. Crafted from coastal Ventura County fruit farmed organically by our winery team. Minimal irrigation and inputs resulted in a tiny concentrated yield of massive flavor. Fermented using native yeast, 25% whole cluster, and spending a total of 21 days on the skins before pressing into a combination of small and large format neutral vessels for 20 months before racking once prior to bottling. 100% Syrah.
