CALIFORNIA

2020

Each year we craft a Cabernet Sauvignon focused wine, and each year it seems that we have to source it from a different vineyard. We've decided to utilize the name 'Anonymous' to describe these efforts until we find our 'forever' home for these varietals. Bordeaux varietals picked at the peak of ripeness in Ventura County and Santa Barbara County. Full bodied, black currant fruit and medium tannin, baking spices and herbs. 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Malbec, and 5% Petit Verdot aged for 24 months in French oak barrels (20% new). 91 Points - Wine Enthusiast 80 cases produced.

From vineyards in Moorpark and the Santa Ynez Valley, this blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot opens with clean lines of blackberry jam and dark woodspice. Dense tannins frame rich flavors of milk chocolate and dark berry, leading into a minty finish.
