The wine opens with an arresting, ultra-pure nose of crème de cassis and warm blackcurrant with layered aromatics unfolding gradually—cedar, pepper, and black licorice. Hints of dark chocolate and sweet baking spices emerge with air. The finish lingers with smooth tannin and freshness creating balance on the palate. The fruit was picked at the peak of ripeness in early November, destemmed and fermented on the skins for 14 days before aging in barrel for 18 months (66% new French Oak).
