These organically-certified, bush trained vines have been dry-farmed for the last 100 years and produces intensely flavored Zinfandel with firm tannin, balanced acidity, and red-fruit flavors. Aged in 25% new American oak. The 2024 vintage is juicy and expressive with black cherry, kirsch, vanilla and sasparilla on the palate. The first vineyards were planted in the Cucamonga Valley in the 1830's and it was an agricultural mecca until Prohibition and urban expansion began overtaking the vineyards. The Lopez Vineyard is one of the last remaining large vineyards in the area with both Zinfandel and Palomino planted. 92 PTS, International Wine Report; 91 PTS, Editor's Choice, Wine Enthusiast
